Principal Game Designer at Treehouse Games

Tim Michaels has a wealth of experience in the gaming industry. Tim started their career as a Game Design Intern at the US Department of Energy in 2012. Following that, they worked as a Student Worker at the USC School of Cinematic Arts Business Office, where they handled accounting and budgeting for student film projects. In 2014, Tim joined EA Industrial Toys as a Level Designer, and later moved on to become a Senior Game Designer and then the Lead Game Designer. During their time at EA, they played a key role in the design and development of Battlefield Mobile, leading a team responsible for combat design. Currently, Tim is working at Treehouse Games as the Principal Game Designer, a role they took on in April 2023. Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated their expertise and leadership abilities in game design, particularly in combat design and level design.

Tim Michaels attended the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Entertainment.
