Kristin Schleicher

Kristin Schleicher has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, with a focus on drug discovery research for disorders of the central nervous system. Kristin has worked at Treeline Biosciences since 2022 as an Associate Director, Medicinal Chemistry. Prior to this, they spent nine years at Takeda, where they held various roles including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Staff Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry. At Takeda, they contributed to hit-to-tool, hit-to-lead, lead optimization, and preclinical scientific project leadership. Earlier in their career, Kristin worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute.

Kristin Schleicher completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Stanford University from 2001 to 2005. Kristin then pursued further education and obtained their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
