Sophie Phillips

Sophie Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sophie began their career as an Intern at Winthrop-University Hospital in 2011, where they gained exposure to various departments such as Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and the ER. In 2012, they completed an internship at New Magellan Ventures, where they conducted an economic study on high-speed rail ridership factors and compiled information on the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries in Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan.

In 2013, Sophie volunteered at the Clinical Translational Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where they built a database of research projects and assisted in developing clinical trials and business models. The following year, they worked as a Summer Intern at Oncoceutics, Inc., contributing to finance-related projects throughout the drug development process and participating in the creation of a clinical development plan for an anti-cancer drug.

Sophie then joined NYU Langone Medical Center as a Clinical Researcher in Pediatric Neurosurgery in 2015. Their responsibilities included conducting research in pediatric neurosurgery. Sophie obtained both a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
