Rebeca Isabel García Betances

Rebeca Isabel García Betances is an experienced professional in the fields of research and development, with a focus on biomedical engineering and e-health innovation. Currently serving as R&D Project Manager at Treelogic since July 2021, Rebeca leads project teams to meet project specifications and promote funding proposals for R&D initiatives. Prior to this role, Rebeca spent nearly nine years at Life Supporting Technologies as a Researcher and Project Leader, concentrating on e-health, cognitive disabilities, chronic and neurodegenerative diseases, and aging. Rebeca has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, complemented by a telecommunications engineering degree from UCAB. Early in the career, Rebeca gained experience as a gymnastics coach and research assistant at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, contributing to the development of patient identification applications.
