James Ameriks has a long and varied career in operations and management. James began their career in 1996 as a Restaurant Manager for Planet Hollywood, where they were responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintaining food and beverages costs within the operational budget. In 2001, they moved to Bally Technologies as an International Sales Operations Manager, leading international sales operations for Latin America, Europe, and Asia. In 2008, they joined Rackspace Managed Hosting as Senior Manager of Fanatical Support, leading an organization of 6 teams of systems administrators, account managers, and devops engineers. During their time there, they led all support teams in various KPI's, created the workload growth forecast and resource budget for a $200M+ operational support organization, and utilized workload data to design better resource scheduling. In 2015, they became Vice President of Operations at TreeRing.

James Ameriks obtained their High School Diploma from Bishop Gorman High School in 1988. James then went on to attend the UNLV Lee Business School, where they obtained their BSBA in Management Information Systems in 2004. In 2015, they obtained a Coursera Verified Certificate in The Data Scientist's Toolbox.
