Christian Schirk

Christian Schirk is an experienced professional in the field of fiber technology and process development. Currently serving as Process Development Manager and Senior Spinning Expert at TreeToTextile since September 2022, Christian focuses on process improvement for MMC fibers at the TTT Demo Plant. Previous roles include Manager R&D Fiber at AMSilk GmbH and a decade-long tenure at Lenzing Group, where Christian specialized in Lyocell technology as a Process Expert and Project Manager. This extensive background encompasses conceptual plant design, strategic projects, value engineering, and process optimization. Earlier experience includes positions at API Additives for Paper Industries and Isovolta Composite Material Co. Christian holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Vienna and a Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universität Graz.
