Nelly Rahkonen

Nelly Rahkonen is a seasoned professional in stem cell research and process development, currently serving as a Process Development Manager and Senior Scientist at Procella Therapeutics AB since January 2019. Prior experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Karolinska Institutet from August 2015 to January 2019, focusing on human stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, and at the University of Turku from 2014 to July 2015 specializing in pluripotent human embryonic stem cells. Nelly Rahkonen's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Embryonic Stem Cells and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Health Biosciences and Drug Development from the University of Turku, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biotechnology from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
