Gabriel Purkyt has over 10 years of work experience. In 2007, they began their career as an Aspirant Officer with the Brazilian Air Force. In 2010, they were an Investment Banking Analyst Summer Intern at Credit Suisse. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Procurement Trainee - International Buyer at Nokia. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Bain & Company in various roles, including Associate Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Consultant. In 2014, they were a Member of Value Creation Team at Advent International. From 2017 to 2019, they were an MBA Candidate - Class of 2019 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Senior Manager, Manager, and Consultant at Bain & Company. Currently, they are the Head of Consumer Operations at Trela.

Gabriel Purkyt has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, which they obtained between 2007 and 2012. Gabriel then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration - MBA with an emphasis in Advanced Analytics, AI and ML from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019.
