Kris Clason has been a marketing and communications professional for over six years. Kris currently serves as the Director of Client Marketing at Trellis, a position they have held for just over a year. Prior to joining Trellis, Kris spent three years as the Client Solutions Manager at USA TODAY NETWORK | LOCALiQ. In this role, Kris was responsible for constructing direct response marketing strategies and campaigns for clients, delivering industry and market data to sales team, creating B2B marketing and sales materials, and developing content presented at state, regional and national industry speaking engagements.
Before their time at USA TODAY NETWORK | LOCALiQ, Kris was the Marketing Associate at Celadon Group Inc., where they assisted in managing a multimillion-dollar driver recruitment marketing budget focused on increasing brand exposure and generating qualified leads. Kris also gathered and analyzed recruiting data to maximize ROI of recruiting investments by increasing lead volume and quality. Additionally, Kris worked with adjacent teams to implement internal processes improvements, track full-funnel lead acquisition metrics and optimize conversion pipeline.
Kris began their marketing and communications career as an intern at the IU School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in May 2014. Kris held this role for just over a year before moving on to their first professional role as Marketing Associate at Celadon Group Inc.
Kris Clason studied journalism and public relations at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and later received certification from Facebook as a Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate.
