Estelle Giraud

Estelle Giraud has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of health technology, genomics, and data science. Estelle is currently the CEO and Cofounder of Trellis Health, a company focused on building smart health records for pregnancy and new families. Prior to this, they founded Navnetics, Inc. and worked as a Founder Fellow at On Deck, a platform for tech talent. Estelle also has extensive experience at Illumina, where they held positions such as Senior Manager of Arrays and Consumer Genomics Specialists, Senior Market and Business Specialist, and Field Applications Scientist. Estelle played a key role in driving revenue growth and strategic development in these roles. Earlier in their career, Estelle worked as a Research Assistant Professor at The University of Western Australia, conducting research in plant energy biology and publishing multiple high-impact papers. Estelle also served as an Adjunct Principal Lecturer at Zhejiang University, where they developed educational programs and collaborated with academic staff.

Estelle Giraud pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Western Australia from 2002 to 2005. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with First Class Honors. Estelle'sareas of study encompassed genetics, biochemistry, and psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, Estelle continued their academic journey at University of Western Australia CoE Plant Energy Biology from 2006 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, specializing in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology.
