Jay Bell

Jay Bell has had a varied work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Field Technician for Allnorth Consultants Limited and then as a Survey Assistant for the same company in 2014. Jay was also the Founder & CEO of Sha Software in 2013. In 2014, they were the CTO and Co-founder of Hummingbird Drones and the Founder & COO of Unite, where they were the Lead Developer and Full Stack Backend Developer and a team lead on product design and functionality. In 2017, they were the Chief Technical Officer of Trellis Social Enterprise Inc.

Jay Bell began their educational journey in 2010 when they attended Thompson Rivers University and obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Systems: Operations and Management. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Computer Systems: Operations and Management from Thompson Rivers University, and they also attended Halmstad University that same year, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree. Finally, from 2013 to 2018, Jay Bell attended The University of British Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
