Abeer Aljarrah

Abeer AlJarrah, PhD, is a Malware Reverse Engineer specializing in Android at Trellix since January 2023. Prior to this role, Abeer served as an Assistant Professor at San Francisco State University from August 2018 to August 2023 and as an Instructor at UNC Charlotte from August 2012 to 2018, teaching courses in Mobile Application Development and Server-Side Application Development. Abeer also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant for a Mobile Application Development course, responsible for preparing assignments, grading projects, and delivering lectures on Android programming topics. Abeer holds a PhD in Computer Software Information Systems with a focus on Security and Privacy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed a UbiCrypt Summer School program in Reverse Engineering at Ruhr University Bochum.
