Dillon de Shong

Dillon De Shong is an accomplished digital reporter at Trend Media Group, serving since December 2019, specializing in Loop Caribbean. Previous roles include News Editor at Trinidad and Tobago Radio Network from October 2015 to November 2019, and News Editor and Reporter at Caribbean Lifestyle Communications Ltd. during December 2014 to July 2015. Dillon also gained experience as an Assistant Editor, News Reporter, and Intern at Power 102.1 FM from March 2012 to November 2014, and briefly interned at Caribbean Web Advertizering Company in 2016. Dillon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT), obtained in 2017, and an Associate’s Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the same institution, earned in 2013. Early education includes the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate from Belmont Boys' Secondary R.C. School, completed in 2009.
