Pavel Popov

Graduate Research Assistant at TReNDS Center

Pavel Popov is a Graduate Research Assistant at TReNDS Center, involved in researching machine learning applications in neuroscience since January 2022. Prior to this role, Pavel served as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics RAS from May 2017 to September 2020, focusing on spintronics and the magnetization behavior in anti-/ferromagnetic materials. Pavel is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at Georgia State University, with an expected graduation in 2027, and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), completed in 2020 and 2018, respectively.

Large-scale data sharing and advanced data-driven and machine learning methods as well as multimodal data fusion techniques are the underpinnings of our approach.
