Lan Xuezhao

Lan Xuezhao is the Founder and Managing Partner at Basis Set since September 2017. As a Seed Investor for multiple companies including Ergeon, Quince, Trendsi, Workstream, Path Robotics, and Rasa, Lan Xuezhao has consistently taken on lead roles in their seed funding rounds. Additionally, Lan Xuezhao serves as an Angel Investor for Scale AI and UpKeep, being one of the earliest investors in both companies. Prior experience includes a position as Head of Corporate Development Strategy at Dropbox from December 2013 to May 2017, where responsibilities included leading strategic M&A efforts and product management. Lan Xuezhao holds an MA in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Michigan, as well as additional credentials from Harvard University.
