Tuomo Nikkilä has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Tuomo co-founded Treon in 2016, where they served as the Electronics Design Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft from 2014 to 2016 as a Local Technology Manager, focusing on electronics design in the early phase of product development. Tuomo also had part-time experience as an Electronics Chief at Quha Oyj, where they worked on designing wireless gyroscopic mouse and peripherals. Nikkilä spent a significant part of their career at Nokia, holding roles such as Local Technology Manager, Principal Engineer, and Head of Base Band HW System Design. Additionally, they worked at Tampere University of Technology as a Researcher, specializing in developing control cards for hydraulics control using microcontrollers.
Tuomo Nikkilä earned their Msc degree in Electronics with a focus on Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Tampere University of Technology, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
