Mihir Sampat has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Mihir started their career in 2018 as an intern at Aspen Bower Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. and Soch3D. In 2019, they interned at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories before joining the company again in 2020 as a Technical Trainee in the Young Leaders' Program. In 2021, Mihir transitioned to TRESA, where they initially worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer and later became the Head of Platform Design in July 2022. Overall, Mihir has gained valuable experience in design engineering and leadership roles throughout their career.

Mihir Sampat completed their Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended Reliance School in Vadodara from 2004 to 2016. Mihir also obtained additional certifications including the Sequence Modelling - Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2020 and the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate from Dassault Systèmes in 2019.

Today, trucks in India represent just 3% of the total vehicle fleet, yet are responsible for 53% of PM and 34% of CO2 emissions. Indian trucks aren't safe either and accounted for >14000 fatalities in 2021. 50% of drivers have compromised vision3 while driving for long hours, delivering goods that run our economy. There are 2 million trucks in India. Tresa will switch them to electric, one at a time. We are designing high-performance EV platforms, from the ground up, with first principles.
