Solgunn Slåtto

On a climbing trip to Lofoten a group of friends discovered a run down carpentry and cod liver oil factory in the heart of the tiny fisherman's village of Henningsvær. Without any particular idea or plan they collected their savings. A week later they were factory owners. The project attracted people from all over the world, who developed the project throughout the following years. Today, Trevarefabrikken houses accommodation, a bar, concert venue, a restaurant, meeting rooms and coworking space, yoga studio and a café. And is still developing.
