Bob Yoder

Bob Yoder has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Bob began their career at Merck in 1987, where they held various commercial roles of increasing responsibilities until 2005. In 2005, they became the Senior Business Director for Specialty Sales. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the Senior Director of Field Operations and Implementation, and from 2008 to 2010, they were the Senior Director of National Business Planning. In 2010, they became the Executive Director of Global Human Health Sigma & Strategy Execution, a position they held until 2013. From 2011 to 2013, they also served as the Executive Director of Business Operations & Execution for Global Diversified Brands CBL. In 2013, they became the Associate Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Southeast region at Merck. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Associate Vice President of US Sales Operations.

In 2015, Yoder joined Orexigen Therapeutics as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Commercial Operations, Alliance Management, and IT. In this role, they were responsible for building and leading all commercial support functions and delivering partnership deals in various countries.

Yoder joined Trevena, Inc. in 2018 and held multiple senior executive positions. Bob served as the Vice President of Commercial Operations and Sales from June to November 2018. From December 2018 to October 2020, they were the Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer. From October 2020 to November 2021, they held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President, Chief Business Officer, and Head of Commercial Operations at Trevena, Inc.

Bob Yoder attended Dickinson College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Emory University - Goizueta Business School and obtained an MBA in Business in the years 1999 to 2000.
