Marcia Taylor

Vice President Research at Treventis

Marcia Taylor has a long and varied work experience. Marcia began their career in 1996 as a Trainee at Health Canada. Marcia then worked as a Trainee at Concordia University in 1997, followed by a Trainee position at Merck. In the same year, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Guelph. From 2005 to 2011, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Geneva. Marcia then worked as the Head of Biology at DeNovaMed from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also acted as a Consultant at DeNovaMed Inc. In 2013, they were the Director of Biological Sciences at Treventis Corporation. In 2017, they became the Scientific Leader at Apobiologix. Marcia is currently working as the Vice President Research and Neurodegeneration Alliance Manager at Treventis Corporation.

Marcia Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from the University of Guelph between 1993 and 1999. Marcia then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dalhousie University between 1999 and 2004. In April 2015, they obtained a First Aid and CPR/AED at HCP level certification from the Canadian Red Cross.
