Sarah Lafferty

Sarah earned her BS in Early Childhood Education from Springfield College and her MS in Communications from Iona College. She also attended the Gesell Institute of Child Development. Sarah served on the faculty of Riverdale Country School from 1985 to 2016. Starting as a Kindergarten teacher, Sarah later became a Lower School Admissions Officer, Associate Director of Lower School Admissions, Director of Lower School Admissions, and Director of Lower School Transition. She has also worked as a consultant for Educational Records Bureau focusing on developing strategies to explore social-emotional learning.
