Colleen Woods

Colleen joined Trewstar in 2021 with more than twenty years of professional experience, having worked in a variety of industries. Most recently, Colleen worked in higher education at the State University of New York College at Old Westbury.

Prior to her time with the College, she worked as a solo practitioner, providing market research, website quality assurance testing, and vendor contract negotiation services to clients including a professional services firm and an endurance sports travel company. Her favorite client assignment allowed her to travel to a number of incredible locales including California’s Death Valley and the Sahara Desert. Colleen started her career at Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Joining as a financial analyst, she went on to become a team supervisor and finally a global project manager.

Colleen completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and more recently, she earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management at Stony Brook University. Colleen is proud to serve on the board of the Love Your Neighbor Project, a non-profit founded during the COVID-19 pandemic.
