Darren Esser

Darren is a senior commercial real estate, capital markets, and structured finance executive with over 24 years of in-depth commercial real estate finance, fixed income and CMBS / CLO experience. Darren was at Wells Fargo from 2005 through 2019 where he was most recently Managing Director, Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets and Head of CRE CLO Securitization and Securities Finance.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Darren was with Standard & Poor’s where he was a Director in the structured credit group and before that he was with GE Capital Corporation Real Estate as a Vice President. Darren started his career as an attorney and practiced in the commercial real estate finance groups of both Jones, Day and Thacher Proffitt in New York. Darren earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) from University of Maryland and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
