Ronal Bhagat

Ronal is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 20 years of experience which includes providing asset management oversight for transitional real estate debt and equity investments, structuring CLOs, restructuring defaulted loans, and rating CMBS transactions. Ronal has in-depth experience across the capital structure including first mortgage debt, mezzanine loans, preferred equity financings, and common equity investments across all major property types in various geographies in the United States. Prior to joining Trez Capital, Ronal was at Marathon Asset Management from 2020 through 2022 where was most recently a Director and led the asset management function for the firm’s US commercial real estate portfolio.

Ronal’s previous experience includes Ares Management, Deutsche Bank, and Standard & Poor’s and he started his career as an Analyst at Westbrook Partners in Los Angeles, CA. Ronal has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with a major in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University.
