Kenya Ison has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. In 2017, Kenya worked as a Casual Course Facilitator in Entrepreneurship at The University of Queensland. In 2018, Kenya took on the role of Research Assistant in Oncology Therapies at UQ Business School and then moved on to work as a Cancer Services - Oncology Administrator at Queensland Health. In 2020, Kenya joined Translational Research Institute Australia as a Project Officer and Data Manager for Queensland Melanoma Projects.
Kenya Ison completed their education in a chronological order. From 2012 to 2015, they attended the University of the Sunshine Coast, where they pursued a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree with a focus on Life Science. Following that, from 2016 to 2018, Kenya Ison enrolled at The University of Queensland, where they earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology, specializing in the Commercialization of Biotechnology Innovation.
