Khaleda Fhara has a diverse work experience in different organizations. From 2018, they worked as a Care Manager at Tri-County Care CCO. Prior to that, they served as a Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC) at Mercy Drive Inc. from 2016 to 2018. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Muslim Aid UK, where they held the roles of Clinical Nutritionist Manager at the Rohinga Refugee Camp Clinic and MDGF Nutrition Coordinator. In these positions, they focused on providing nutrition support to malnourished pregnant women and children under the age of 5, identifying individuals with nutrition needs, and coordinating community-based nutrition programs.

Khaleeda Fhara graduated from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Govt. Women's College in Comilla, Bangladesh, in 1992. In 1986, they completed their high school education at Nawab Faizunnesa Government Girls' High School in Comilla, Bangladesh, earning their a High School Diploma.
