Tiana Mathis

Tiana Mathis has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tiana started their career at NYU Langone Medical Center as a Treasury Associate, where they handled patient payments and managed accounts. Tiana then worked as a Care Coordinator at New Horizon Counseling Center, providing personalized support to clients and assisting them with obtaining entitlement services. Later, they served as a Case Manager at Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc, where they provided case management services to single homeless women. Tiana also worked at Ios Staffing as an Associate Outreach Specialist, addressing shelter complaints and implementing new policies. Tiana then joined Children Community Services as a Case Manager, supporting homeless families with housing and monitoring their well-being. Tiana worked at New York City Health and Hospital Corporation as a Community Laision Worker II, conducting outreach and orientation services for Health Home eligible clients. Tiana then joined The Bridge as an Operations staff member for a brief period. Tiana also worked at Lutheran Social Services of New York as a Care Manager, coordinating appointments and providing support to case planners. Their most recent role was as a Case Manager at Commonpoint Queens, where they assisted out-of-school youth with educational and life skills goals through comprehensive case management. Currently, Tiana is employed at Tri-County Care CCO as a Care Manager, supporting individuals and families receiving OPWDD services in achieving their goals by connecting them to necessary resources and providing counseling as needed.

Tiana Mathis has a strong education background in the field of health care administration and management. Tiana initially attended Monroe College from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Health Services Administration. Continuing their academic pursuits, they then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Monroe College, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, Tiana furthered their expertise by pursuing a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. It is evident that Tiana Mathis has consistently strived to enhance their knowledge and skills in the healthcare administration domain through their educational pursuits.
