Michele Askenazi is currently the Director of Emergency Preparedness, Response, & Communicable Disease Surveillance at Tri-County Health Department. Prior to that, they were a Performance, Innovation and Sustainability Intern at Adams County Government from June 2015 to July 2015. Michele was also a Wellness and Fitness Specialist at Healthbreak, Inc. from March 2012 to June 2015.
Michele Askenazi has a Master's Degree in Public Health from Walden University and a Nutrition and Food Science Degree in Dietetics/Dietitian from Colorado State University. Michele also has certification from the American Heart Association's Professional Education Center in CPR/First Aid/AED.
Michele Askenazi reports to John M. Douglas, Executive Director. They are on a team with Heather Baumgartner - Director of Community Health Promotion, Jill Bonczynski - Director of Nutrition, and Mame Fuhrman - Director of Human Resources.
