Chris Green joined Tri Global Energy in 2018. Prior to Tri Global Energy, Chris spent six years with Leeward Energy, where he was lead wind developer on projects from their initiation to late-stage development, for a total of nearly 400 MW. Chris also has lead teams focused on development aspects of renewable energy projects from permitting, landowner negotiations and securing site control to managing the grid interconnection process, leading various permitting and environmental setbacks, managing budgets and schedules and assisting in the wind turbine negotiation and selection.
In addition, Chris led the development for a 20 MW battery storage project and a 20 MW solar energy project, both located in PJM. Additionally, Chris has performed owner's engineering for various IPPs while employed with Burns and McDonnell in Kansas City and was the project manager for various flood protection design projects on the USACE's post Hurricane Katrina rebuild in Southeast Louisiana.
Chris has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MBA with a finance concentration, both from Louisiana State University.
