William W. Budd

Budd has more than 30 years of experience in credit administration and commercial banking. Between October 2017 and March 2019, he served as chief credit officer of HomeTown Bank, based in Roanoke, Virginia. He has also served as senior managing director with Strategic Risk Associates, a national consulting and advisory firm specializing in financial institutions. He has previously served as executive vice president and chief credit officer for NewBridge Bank, as senior vice president for SunTrust Bank’s Commercial and Commercial Real Estate groups in the Carolinas. He has also held leadership roles with Wachovia Bank and Central Carolina Bank. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
