Aquila A. Pinnix is a Partner Trainer at Camp Gladiator and a Medical Technologist at Metamark Genetics. At TRIANGLE AQUATIC CENTER, Pinnix serves as an Assistant Swim Coach and Lessons Instructor, focusing on technique development and safety skills. With a Master of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Pinnix has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina Central University and as a Histology Lab Assistant at Aurora Diagnostics.

The facility Is 72,000 sq. ft., One Of The Largest Public Aquatic Facilities In North Carolina. Our Center was founded to fill the long-term need for year-round public aquatic facilities that addresses the health, safety, recreation and competition needs of Triangle citizens and organizations. TAC is the host to over 70 aquatic events and visited by more than 450,000 patrons annually. TAC is the home for the TAC TITANS Swim Team, NCHSAA Championships, Special Olympics of North Carolina, the National Black Heritage Meet, Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County, and many more.
