Triangle Community Center (TCC) empowers and advocates for LGBTQ people in Connecticut through programming focused on health, community and learning. Founded in 1990, TCC is proud to celebrate 30 years of service and support for the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County and beyond.

Our case management and mental health counseling services ensure our clients’ health and wellbeing needs are met with affirming care. Our team of highly trained client advocates assist community members with social service, housing and healthcare navigation, document updates and nutritional assistance. TCC's in-house LGBTQ-affirming counseling services are supervised by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with advanced MFT students providing comprehensive counseling to individuals, couples and families.

At TCC we build connections and foster community with dozens of free programs that meet regularly. Groups include peer support, recovery, older adult programming, sober social events, crafting, game nights and youth & young adult groups. As of March 2020, our groups continue to meet virtually for the safety of our community. TCC also produces CT's largest Pride event each June, Fairfield County's Pride in the Park in Norwalk.

TCC’s LGBTQ Training Institute brings professional development and community education to businesses and organizations across Connecticut. Through LGBTQ Cultural Competency training, TCC works to make organizations more welcoming to LGBTQ people with the goal of increasing LGBTQ individuals’ access to affirming services.

TCC serves over 300 individuals who utilize its programs and services on a regular basis as well as over 5000 members of the Fairfield County community who attend a TCC program or event at least once a year. TCC’s key target population is the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, however, we welcome all who seek our services and have clients who do not identify as LGBTQ and who travel from other counties to attend our programs.

The Clinician and Support Team at Triangle Community Center provides comprehensive and affirming care to LGBTQ individuals through case management and mental health counseling services. This team, consisting of specialized roles like Youth Support Clinician, Young Adult Housing Navigator, and Clinician, assists community members with social services, housing, healthcare navigation, and mental health support. They ensure clients' health and wellbeing needs are met, offering individual, couples, and family counseling supervised by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Clinician and Support Team

The Development and Community Engagement team at Triangle Community Center is responsible for fundraising, donor relations, and community outreach. They coordinate events, such as Fairfield County's Pride in the Park, manage communications, and deliver LGBTQ Cultural Competency training to external organizations. This team works to secure the financial and community support needed to sustain and grow TCC's programs and services.
