Joanna Wilson, DVM, currently serves as an Emergency Veterinarian at Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospitals since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Veterinarian at Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Midlothian from January 2022 to August 2023, and at I-20 Animal Medical Center from April 2019 to October 2021. Joanna has also worked as a Relief Veterinarian at Fort Worth Animal Emergency Hospital and as an Associate Veterinarian at NTVH, with earlier experience as a Ruminant Health Management Intern at North Carolina State University- College of Veterinary Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University and a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences and Industry from the same institution. Research involvement at Kansas State University further contributed to expertise in animal care and ruminant nutrition.
