Candice Yao began their work experience as an Assistant Consultant at China Automotive Engineering Research Institute in April 2014. During their time there, they worked on various projects and participated in writing sections for automotive industry plans and feasibility reports. Candice then joined Joomet as a Headhunter Consultant in July 2015, focusing on IT and Manufacturing position searches. Candice excelled in sales and effectively communicated with HR to acquire position hire requests. Additionally, they sourced and interviewed candidates, evaluating their suitability. In September 2017, they joined BYTON as a Senior Executive Talent Acquisition, where they played a key role in talent acquisition activities until February 2020. Their most recent position was as a Human Resources Business Partner at GenScript, starting in February 2020 and ending in March 2022.
Candice Yao holds a Master's degree in Vehicle Engineering from Chongqing Jiaotong University, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the same university, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
