Don Stevenson

Don Stevenson has a diverse work experience encompassing various roles.

From 2021, they have been working as an Agile Software Developer at TribalScale.

In 2021, they were a Full-stack Developer Mentor and Project Evaluator at Lighthouse Labs, where they mentored and provided feedback to students during their intensive 12-week program.

From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Frontend Web Developer at Sebastian Knox Woodwind Services, where they developed web applications.

Don also worked as a Full-stack Developer on a contract basis at Harbourfront Centre from 2021 to 2021, leading the team in implementing modern development practices for the launch of a new website.

From 2020 to 2021, they were a Frontend Web Developer at Forward Thinking Psychological Services, where they improved site functionality and led the team in updating the staff email domain.

Don has experience as a League Ambassador at the Toronto Sport and Social Club from 2017 to 2020, where they coordinated evening league sports and ensured smooth event operations.

Don worked as an Administrator at Seneca College from 2018 to 2019, providing front-line customer service and assisting students with registration and related inquiries.

At Yamaha Canada Music, Don had multiple roles, serving as an Educator and Course Area Department Head from 2012 to 2019, as well as a Guitar Teacher from 2007 to 2019. Don developed effective communication strategies between families and teachers and taught guitar to various students.

During their time at Northmount School from 2014 to 2016, they were a Music and Science Teacher. Don organized and directed school-wide musicals, co-wrote and produced musicals, and also served as a judge for science fairs.

Lastly, they worked as a Course Instructor at York University from 2007 to 2009.

Don Stevenson's education history is as follows:

From 2019 to 2020, Don Stevenson attended Lighthouse Labs, where they completed a Web Development Boot Camp, focusing on computer programming.

In 2013 to 2014, Don Stevenson attended the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Don'sfield of study was Science and Instrumental Music.

From 2007 to 2010, Don Stevenson pursued a Master’s Degree in Music Theory and Composition at York University.

Prior to their Master's Degree, from 2004 to 2007, Don Stevenson obtained a Bachelor's Degree (hons) in Music Performance, specializing in jazz guitar, also from York University.

From 1996 to 2003, Don Stevenson completed a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree at The University of Winnipeg, majoring in Physical and Biological Anthropology.

Simultaneously with their Bachelor of Arts, Don Stevenson also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology, General from The University of Winnipeg between 1996 and 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Don Stevenson completed several online courses. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in "Learning the JavaScript Language" from LinkedIn. In the same month, they also completed a course titled "Succeeding in Web Development: Full Stack and Front End" from the same institution.

Earlier in August 2019, Don Stevenson received certifications in "CSS Essential Training 1," "CSS Essential Training 2," "CSS Essential Training 3," "HTML Essential Training," and "Learning PHP" from LinkedIn.
