Harlan Harris

Harlan Harris is an accomplished consultant at Tribe AI since November 2024, with extensive experience in data science and analytics across multiple industries. As Vice President of Data and AI at EdSights, from February to October 2024, Harlan led the development of a Generative AI-based microservice to enhance the company's chatbot, addressing student persistence challenges. Previously, roles included Director of Analytics Engineering at Algolia, where Harlan transformed a Data Governance team into an Analytics Engineering team, and Staff Data Scientist at Teachers Pay Teachers, contributing to the Marketplace and Search teams. Harlan also held significant positions at WayUp and WeWork, and served on the board of Slow Food NYC. Harlan earned a PhD in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Computer Science and Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
