Soheil Alavi

Soheil Alavi is the Co-Founder and CPO at Tribe Community Platform. Prior to that, they were the Founder/CEO at Reyhoon and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Avatech Accelerator.

Soheil has always been driven by technology. Soheil founded Reyhoon in 2014 because they saw an opportunity in the online food ordering service market in Iran's capital, Tehran. Reyhoon quickly grew to a team of 120 people and was active in 23 cities. They were able to create their own platform instead of cloning or translating other existing platforms.

In October 2014, Soheil also joined Avatech Accelerator as an Entrepreneur In Residence. Avatech is a 6 month startup accelerator program that provides entrepreneurs with the necessary ingredients to succeed. Soheil took advantage of the mentorship, training, seed funding, and creative workspace to prepare Reyhoon to get in front of more than a hundred accredited investors.

Thanks to Soheil's dedication and hard work, Reyhoon was able to graduate from the Avatech Accelerator program and receive funding to grow their business.

Soheil Alavi has a degree in New Media from Ryerson University, a diploma in Digital Media Arts from Seneca College, and a degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick.

Soheil Alavi reports to Siavash Mahmoudian, Co-Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include Gillian Jose-Riz - Director of People & Culture, Amir Akbari - Creative Director, and Ari Diamond - Director of Customer Success. Amir Ahangari - Software Engineer, Eli Najafi - Product Owner report to Soheil Alavi.
