Lucas Rena de Souza has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. In 2008, they started their career as an intern programmer at Sisloc Softwares. Lucas then joined IBM in 2010, where they worked as a Tivoli Specialist, providing specialized support to global customers and programming shell scripts for the support team. Lucas later became the Coordinator of the Tivoli Automation 24x7 Team, managing a 12-person team and coordinating internal improvement projects.

In 2012, Lucas worked as a System Analyst at LOGANN Soluções Especiais before joining the University of Southern California as a Research Assistant in 2013. Lucas contributed to the development of a Kanban Scheduling System simulator using Java and Play Framework.

From 2014 to 2018, Lucas worked as a Systems Analyst at Gapso, where they built web applications with Java, Spring MVC, and Maven. Lucas also managed the development team and implemented automated test modules using JUnit.

Lucas then worked as a Software Engineering Intern at FastModel Sports, where they developed a data management project for basketball scout applications and designed an internal dashboard using Java, JavaScript, Google OAuth, and Tableau API.

In 2016, Lucas joined Accenture as a System Analyst, where they served as a full-stack developer on various projects in the Accenture Applied Intelligence branch. Lucas also took on the role of a Software Developer Specialist in 2019, leading agile teams, designing and developing web applications using .NET.

In 2020, Lucas joined Strata Decision Technology as a Software Developer, specializing in full-stack development for healthcare financial planning and budgeting modules using .NET.

Most recently, they started working at CreatorIQ in 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Lucas Rena de Souza obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, which they completed between the years 2008 and 2012. Lucas then pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, during the period of 2013 to 2014. Following this, Lucas attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016, where they completed their Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Lucas obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in October 2021.
