Abe Bland

Abe Bland is the founder of Tribes Adventure Group, established in September 2011, which focuses on mentoring for personal and societal growth using an adventure-based approach that incorporates ecotherapy and tribal values. In addition, Abe serves as a Lance Corporal in the Army Reserves since January 2002, providing training to recruits and deploying on operations in the Solomon Islands. Abe's past experience includes serving as Project Director at Balunjali, where strategic management of community services and staff oversight were key responsibilities, and as a Carer Support Officer with Commonwealth Carelink and Respite Centre from 2003 to 2009, conducting home visits and identifying support mechanisms for families in need. Educational background includes attendance at Smiths Hill High School and Woonona Primary School.
