Dayan Fonseka

Dayan Fonseka is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in design and development within the engineering sector. Currently employed at TriCab Engineered Cable Systems since March 2019, Dayan is responsible for the design and development of electrical cable accessories, including bi-metallic circuit breaker lugs for custom flexible aluminum cables. Previous experience includes work at Acute Thermo, where Dayan focused on testing tools for insulation material installation and error reduction in experimental setups, and as a Design Engineer at 3S Fabrications Pvt Ltd, where the development of various force transducers for inventory management was undertaken. An internship at ZEE Engineering Group provided exposure to international standards for sub-sea pipeline projects, while earlier experience as a trainee at Loadstar (Private) Limited contributed to foundational skills in manufacturing. Dayan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, earned in 2017.
