Martin Edwards

As a Chartered Engineer, Operations Director, Martin bought a wealth of engineering and communications skills predominantly from his military background to TriCIS when he joined the company in April 2019. Life before TriCIS saw Martin enjoy a storied 33 year career with the Royal Air Force, which included being awarded the RAF CIS Engineer of the Year in 2012 for his leadership in an innovative support for airborne communications in support of the Olympics. He holds an BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a team player, with tact, diplomacy and integrity, priding himself in getting the best out of his team. His favourite quote is from former US Navy Rear Admiral and Computer Scientist Grace Hopper, who said: “Leadership is a two-way street, loyalty up, and loyalty down. Respect for one’s superiors; care for one’s crew.” Martin is a long term member of the London Chapter AFCEA committee and enjoys cycling, hill walking and swimming.
