Jeremy McCarron has over 19 years of experience in the industry, beginning with their role as Art Director at Radical Entertainment in 2001. Jeremy then moved to Mainframe Entertainment in the same year, taking on the role of Head Supervisor of Animation. In 2004, they were promoted to Animation Director and CGI Supervisor. In 2006, they became the Academic Director of Media Arts Programs at The Art Institute of Vancouver. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as Development Director at Electronic Arts, followed by Games Industry Strategy Manager at Autodesk from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, they founded Trickfilm and currently serves as its Founder and CEO.
Jeremy McCarron has a diverse education history. Jeremy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Simon Fraser University in 2009, focusing on Strategy, Marketing, and Financial Management. In 2017-2018, they earned a UBC/DAA Award of Achievement in Digital Analytics from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Jeremy also holds a Certificate and Diploma in Classical Animation from the Vancouver Film School, obtained in 1995 and 1994-1995 respectively. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Advanced Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Growth Marketing, Online Marketing, a Venture Deals Certificate from the Kauffman Fellows, a Mining Valuation Certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute, and a Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) from the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop).
