Valerie Soberanis Phr, Mshr

Valerie Soberanis, PHR, MSHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Valerie started their career as a Payroll Administrator at Cook County Sheriff's Department in June 2004 and worked in that role until December 2005. From December 2005 to November 2008, they served as an FMLA Coordinator at the same department. Valerie then transitioned to the role of HR Coordinator, holding the position from November 2008 to August 2011.

In August 2011, Valerie joined Bitrode Corporation as the Director of Human Resources, where they worked until December 2015. Valerie 'sresponsibilities included managing various HR functions in the organization.

In January 2016, Valerie joined TricorBraun as a Human Resources Manager. Valerie held this role for over 5 years, until April 2021. During their tenure, Valerie took on additional responsibilities and was promoted to the Senior Manager, Human Resources - HR Operations position, which they currently hold.

Valerie Soberanis, PHR, MSHR, completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University from 2001 to 2005. Valerie then pursued a Masters degree in Human Resources Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Valerie has also obtained two certifications. In June 2014, they became a Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In October 2015, they obtained the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional certification from the SHRM.
