Chappy McKay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Trident Construction since January 2000, Chappy previously held the position of Business Development Manager at Bovis Lend Lease from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, Chappy worked as a Project Manager for the SC Department of Commerce from 1994 to 1998, focusing on national and international business recruitment and strategic planning for military base privatization in South Carolina. Chappy began a career in public service as Special Projects Manager for Senator Strom Thurmond in the United States Senate from 1989 to 1994. Chappy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from the College of Charleston, earned between 1982 and 1986.
