Mark Breeden

Mark Breeden has over two decades of experience in the marine financing business. Mark began their career in 2003 as an Administrative Vice President - Recreational Finance Product Manager at M&T Bank. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining a strong consumer loan portfolio, including origination credit quality, operational efficiency, competitive pricing, performance forecasting, and knowledge of the secondary market. Mark also developed strategic initiatives aimed at profitable growth while maintaining coherence within the portfolio, and led state expansion efforts to increase visibility and increase profitable loan growth in new markets. Mark also served as a Vice President - Portfolio Manager, where they managed C&I Credit Portfolio from the Bank’s high-growth Greater Washington and Central Virginia footprint, supervised analytical team with focus on variance analysis on vintage Middle Market clients from Western New York region, and handled analyses for Business Banking clients that exceed $3MM credit threshold. Mark also served as Senior Credit Analyst at M&T Bank. In 2018, they joined Trident Funding as President/Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they offered the resources of the nation’s largest originator of marine loans and an experienced staff trained to find the best possible financing program.

Mark Breeden received their MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2003 and their B.S. in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo between 1995 and 1999.
