Aaron Rockwell has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Aaron started their career at NASSCO as a Production Associate in 2007 and worked their way up to become an Area Manager 1, where they managed projects and teams. Aaron also played a key role in the Design Build program, leading a team through improvement ideas for a shipbuilding project. Subsequently, Aaron joined Seaspan ULC as an Area Manager, where they were responsible for the safety, cost, quality, and schedule of an area on board a vessel. Aaron then became a Ship Manager, overseeing the delivery of three Offshore Fisheries and Science Vessels to the Canadian Coast Guard. Later, Aaron joined Trident Maritime Systems, first as a Program Manager and then as the General Manager of NASSCO Operations, where they had overall responsibility for the New Construction Division and a backlog of almost $600 million in materials and labor. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of West Coast Operations at Trident Maritime Systems, leading a diverse maritime workforce serving shipyards on the west coast of the United States.
Aaron Rockwell completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Engineering and Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Masters of Business Administration from Brandman University and finished their studies from 2013 to 2016.
