Sarah Simonsen

Sarah Simonsen has an extensive work history that spans a variety of roles and industries. Sarah began their career in 2011 at Panera Bread, where they worked as an Associate Trainer, handling various responsibilities and eventually training new employees. From there, they gained experience in customer service and hospitality, working as a Desk Attendant at Conference and Guest Services at Virginia Tech and as a Banquet Server at Blacksburg Country Club.

In 2015, Sarah transitioned into accounting and finance, starting as a Seasonal Teller at First Citizens Bank. Sarah then joined Cherry Bekaert LLP, working as a Connect Program Participant, Staff Accountant, and later, as a Senior Accountant.
