Tak Chan

Tak Chan is an experienced design manager with a solid background in system-on-chip (SoC) development and video display technologies. Currently serving as Design Manager at Trident Microsystems since March 2011, Tak specializes in connected TV controller SoCs. Prior to this role, Tak held positions including Design Lead at Innofidei Inc., where focus was on ARM SoC application processors, and Design Engineering Manager at LSI Logic, concentrating on video codec SoCs and DTV controllers. Additional experience includes senior technical roles at Luminous Networks, Oak Technology, Auravision, and Western Digital, where expertise spanned gigabit Ethernet, traffic shaping, video and graphics display controllers. Tak holds a degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
