Xavier Gabriëls

Xavier Gabriëls has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Xavier is currently the CEO of TriFinance Belgium since 2022 and has been with the company since 2018, previously serving as the Managing Director for Belgium. Additionally, they hold the position of CEO at TriHD Belgium, TriTechnology Belgium, and TriFinance Luxembourg, all starting in 2022. Prior to joining TriFinance, they were an Executive Board Member in the Leadership Team at ParkLane Insight from 2018 to present. Xavier also served as a Visiting Professor in Management Accounting at KU Leuven since 2017 and at Universiteit Antwerpen since 2008. Xavier also had significant experience at KPMG Belgium, where they held various roles including Partner in Management Consulting from 2014 to 2018. Xavier was also the Director and Competence Leader in Finance Strategy, Reporting & Costing from 2010 to 2014, Senior Manager from 2009 to 2010, and Manager from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they served as an Executive Professor in Strategic Decision Support at Antwerp Management School from 2006 to 2020.

Xavier Gabriëls obtained a PhD in Applied Economics with a specialization in Accounting Information Systems and Cost & Management Accounting from the University of Antwerp, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the same university, earning a degree in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Accounting & IT between 1994 and 1999. Xavier also attended Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat from 1982 to 1994, studying Latin and Mathematics. In addition, they obtained the Prince 2 Foundation certification from ISTYA in 2009.
