Soraya Nair is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as Publisher at Trigger, Nair oversees the Trigger Publishing and Cherish Editions imprints, focusing on commissioning bold, commercial non-fiction titles. Previously, Nair held the position of Managing Editor at Cherish Editions, ensuring high-quality publication standards and maintaining strong author care. Nair's career began at Artech House as an Assistant Acquisitions Editor, where commissioning titles in cyber security and communications was key. Nair also gained experience as a Freelance Publishing Agent at TamaRe House Publishing and interned in literary management and international rights at Folio Literary Management. Nair holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Portsmouth.
